Day 01. Bali (Sanur/Kuta/Denpasar) – Ijen area

We pick you up at your hotel in the morning. It is a three hours drive to Gilimanuk, the village where the ferry leaves for Java. The cross over takes one hour, after which we drive to a restaurant at the seashore to have lunch. Then we drive to the Ijen Plateau (1.5 - 2 hours). You still have enough time to enjoy the surroundings and visit the plantation. You spent the night in a home stay at the Ijen Plateau or in a luxurious hotel on the southeast slope of Mount Ijen.

Day 02. Explore the Ijen area

After breakfast you can explore the area around the village Blawan and visit for example the strawberry garden and the coffee plantation, strawberry and macadamia nuts home industry, waterfalls and the coffee factory. After a day of exploring, relax in hot spring with sulphur. We spent the night in the same hotel as on day 01.

Day 03. Ijen trekking – Bromo

You will have breakfast at five o'clock in the morning with a cup of tea or coffee. Then we depart with our 4WD on our way through plantations and rain forest. It takes one hour to reach Paltuding, the 'entrance' to the Ijen crater. Here you start your three kilometre hike to the Ijen crater. The one hour hike is more than worth it: a scenic and colourful landscape. Besides, you can meet a lot of sulphur miners carrying loads as heavy as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. After you fully enjoyed the crater of Ijen, we drive in about four to five hours to the beach Pasir Putih to have lunch. After lunch we continue via Probolinggo to the village Cemara Lawang. The estimate time of arrival will be around seven o'clock in the evening.

Day 04. Mt. Bromo sunrise tour – Drop in Surabaya

It is very early if we wake you up. It is around three o'clock in the morning if you want to see the sun rise over theastonishing landscape. You have coffee or  tea  before leaving to Pananjakan by car. The last three kilometres to the top of Mt Pananjakan (2770 m) you will have to hike. Then we will descend to the Sea of Sand you have to cross if you want to see the crater of mount Bromo. Hereafter, we go back to the hotel to have breakfast. And then suddenly it is time for you transfer to Surabaya. We can either drop you in a hotel or at the airport.
